Meet our FY2025 Third Quarter Community Champions!
Lindsey Crowe & Paige Gaffaney, Program Directors, CS MN
Lindsey and Paige volunteer to educate the local fire department staff, EMTs, rescue squad team, and other first responders on mental health conditions, best practices to approach a scene when there is a suspected mental health concern, things to look for and what to avoid for medical response team members. The presentations include exercises with real life examples of how best to support people with IDD and mental health conditions. They lead these presentations voluntarily, and develop all curriculum and exercises themselves to provide relevant information for the local community.
