Employees of The MENTOR Network’s corporate office in Boston braved the chilly conditions last Saturday (November 23) to run for a good cause in the 2013 Milton 5K Gobbler for Best Buddies. The event was held at Cunningham Middle School in Milton, Mass.

Best Buddies was a Community Partners grant recipient in 2013. It is an organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Charitable Foundation grant went toward Best Buddies’ chapters at high schools and middle schools throughout Massachusetts, funding four full-time program manager positions.
